FAQs

  • The Radical Mother Meetup is a six week journey design for new, new again, or soon to be moms who embrace holistic living and wellness. It includes educational sessions, self-care practices, community connections, and baby bonding activities.

  • Topics will include healing after birth, baby nutrition, and breast-feeding, sleep strategies, safe herbal remedies and more.

  • Participants will learn meditation, trusting their intuition, journaling, pulling cards, and other practises to support their well-being and nervous systems.

  • Introducing your baby to things that you love to do is also a form of bonding, even though it’s not directly related to your baby! Your baby will bond with you, the other moms, and the other babies in the circle no problem. All you have to do is show up and the bonding has already begun.

  • No only will you get the chance to come and connect with like-minded people, you will learn a bunch about holistic motherhood practices, how to nurture your own well-being and your babies, all while taking in a beautiful setting. You also have access to an experience professional in the realm of motherhood wellness, Clinical Herbalist and Doula Nessa Hayes..

  • We have two meet up location options. The first is the brand new Silverbean Café in Peterborough attached to the Canoe museum. We will use this spot as our homebase.

The other option is Foragers Farm in Cobourg!

Each group starts at 10:30 AM and runs until 11:30 AM. You are welcome to hang out afterwards in Peterborough and check out the farm store before you leave in Cobourg.

If you plan on grabbing a beverage before group, just make sure you come well before 1030 to account for longer lineups and slower service. Our local café is is different than your drive-through option and I highly recommend grabbing yourself a little treat to go along with your beverage!

  • Your investment is $111 per session for six weeks of mom and baby bonding time. Full payment is required to reserve a spot. We have a minimum requirement of four moms to run the group.

  • Yes, a minimum for moms procession is required for the meet to proceed.

  • You can reserve your spot by making full payment, as spaces limited, through the website.

  • We meet rain or shine baby! At the Farm we have a place indoors where we will be meeting so that is not an issue but please dress up weather appropriate we may venture outside.

The Canoe Café is a meeting spot for now as we explore with that relationship could look like with the museum.

If it rains we’ll find a pergola to hang out under further into Beavermead park.
