Hey! I’m Nessa! I’m a mom of two, a medicine maker, a lover of food and good coffee, and witchy woman. I call myself Doula and Clinical Herbalist, but you could call me womb witch, birth keeper, traditional birth attendant, sister, friend. Not every Doula feels that way, but I’m pretty passionate about returning to the natural ways of our ancestors and although those labels aren’t as marketable, I like them!

In practice, I am that woman you call to tend to your birth and I will totally bring my basket full of herbs and goodies to tend to you during this portal and life-altering transition you are walking through. I have been told I have very nurturing energy and I definitely bring that to the table in my work. I’ve also been told I have no filter and tell it like it is. That’s my Virgo energy shining through!

In my personal life, I am a mom of two elementary school aged kiddos. I had my first born, totally clueless, in the hospital and experienced a very traumatic birth. For my second, 18 months later, I was adamant about having a home birth and ooooh baby, did that change everything! I haven’t looked back since and have been on a mission to support women who want to birth at home, safely, and in their power ever since. I have also been a surrogate and chose a hospital birth, so I understand the world of infertility and IVF from a particular perspective and all the ups and downs of working within the system.

In 2018 I became a single mother, and started my spiritual journey. I was always connected, but not quite awake. In a post 2020 world, my eyes are wide open and I love working outside the system in alignment with the natural world.
