You were made for this. Your birth, your way.
You feel it in your bones.
Pregnancy and birth in our world too often feels medicalized, rushed, and disconnected from your body’s natural intelligence.
Maybe you’re being told what you “should” do, and it doesn’t feel right. Maybe you’re scared of interventions because history has shown them to be unnecessary more often than not. Maybe your last experience left you feeling unheard or even traumatized. You want something different — not just “a birth,” but a birth that feels safe, supported, and truly your own.
Birth Keeping is for you if:
You want real education about how labour and birth actually work — not just rules.
You want support that helps you trust your body, your hormones, your timing.
You want your partner confident and grounded, not overwhelmed.
You want clear strategies (positions, breath, mindset, environment, herbs) that feel practical — not mystical fluff.
You want a guide who walks beside you, not above you.
You want someone who will help you hold your vision even when others tell you to compromise.
You don’t want to just follow medical “rules” — you want to understand why things are happening in your body.
You want guidance without overwhelming intervention or fear.
You want someone who sees your intuition as a strength, not a distraction.
If you want a birth that feels grounded, supported, and truly your own.
You want to prepare your body and your nervous system — not just check boxes.
You want to understand labour from physiology, not just fear.
You want tools that help you trust yourself and your partner through the process.
You are supported in knowing why things happen, and how to move with them with confidence and calm. You will
Understand what’s happening in your body — from hormones to labour physiology.
Build confidence — so fear doesn’t drive your choices.
Prepare your body and nervous system — because preparation changes experience.
Break down the medical language and policies so you can advocate for yourself clearly.
Support your partner — so they feel equipped, not frozen.
Create a birth environment that supports your nervous system and your vision.

What My Clients Are Saying
How I Support You at Birth
Regardless of your package choice, the way I show up for your birth is the same.
I bring my full presence. I bring my whole self. I bring deep devotion to your experience.
From the moment you invite me in, I want to walk with you, not just on your birth day, but in the days and weeks leading up to it. If you’re moving through fear, excitement, dreams, or doubt - I want to hear it! You’re not alone, and you don’t need to carry it alone. I encourage you to fill me in as things arise. Invite me into your process.
We will stay in touch over text in the final stretch, and if you’re local (in Peterborough), I can even come check on you during early labour. I’ll bring a calm presence, offer reassurance, work with your body and your energy, and help you settle into your rhythm before heading out again. Once your labour shifts into an active pattern, I’ll return! And from that point, I’m all yours.
When I’m there, I’m fully there. I offer hands—on support, comfort measures, counter pressure, grounding touch, head and foot massage, and tricks and tips to keep you in your body and in the zone.
I work closely with partners, family, and your chosen support team so you feel held on every side. If medical decisions arise,I help you anchor into your vision and values. I protect your hormones, your emotional space, and your authority. I help you ask questions, understand your options, and make choices from a place of clarity, not fear.
Above all, I am there to witness you, to celebrate you, and to walk beside you as you cross the threshold into motherhood.
You’ve heard of Doula, you’ve heard of a Midwife, but what’s a Birth Keeper?
A Birth Keeper is the modern-day version of the embodiment of the wise women who came before us - the ones who sat beside labouring mothers, offering care, wisdom, and basket of herbs to ease the journey. A Birth Keeper trusts in the body. We believe in the power of women, especially in pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.
The term Birth Keeper is more than a title. It speaks to a deep responsibility - a stewardship of women’s health, a keeper of the ancient ways. It means honouring birth as it was always meant to be: natural, sacred, and in harmony with the rhythms of life. It’s not just a practice, it’s a collective responsibility we share as women - to protect, sustain, and pass down these traditions for generations to come.
My role as a Birth Keeper is deeply holistic. I offer emotional, physical, educational, and spiritual support. I hold space for how beautiful and amazing this journey is and I am honoured to watch it unfold naturally - without force, without unnecessary intervention.
What makes a Birth Keeper different is this: I don’t stand above you as the expert. I walk beside you as a sister. I am here to serve you, not save you. I guide, nurture, and remind you of what you already know.
Yes, I also understand the physiology of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, but more than that - I honour that you know your body and baby better than anyone else ever could. My role is to hold space for you to sit with that truth, to embody it fully, and to step into your power as you transition into Motherhood.
When I leave your birth and how I stay in touch…
Once your baby is born, your placenta has arrived, and you’ve had a chance to snuggle in, feed your baby, and begin resting with your family I start to slowly step back. There’s no specific timeline, but I tend to leave when I can feel that you’re safe, cared for, and ready to shift into that private sacred bubble.
Sometimes it’s an hour or two after birth. Sometimes it’s longer. If you’re still in active medical care, and everyone feels well supported by your team, I may hug goodbye, and slip away with your blessing knowing you’re in good hands.
No matter when I leave, my care continues.
I‘ll check in with you within 24 hours, and we’ll connect again at your first postpartum visit. If something changes, if you have to transfer, if you have any questions, or if anything feels hard, I want to know. You can text, send a voice note, or call. Even if I’m resting, I will get back to you as soon as I can. If it’s urgent, you can absolutely call.
Your birth support doesn’t end when I walk out the door. I’m still in your corner.
A note about our postpartum visits
We sit together. We debrief about your birth so you can continue integrating your experience. We talk through whatever is on your heart - healing, breastfeeding, emotions, baby stuff, identity shifts, sleep, family, etc. It’s not about folding laundry or tiding up. It’s about caring for YOU as the mother. Baby’s are adorable and I will snuggle that little one, but I’m here to make sure you’re good.
For first time parents, I extend our time together with three postpartum visits after your baby is born, each up to 90 minutes. These visits are especially valuable for first-time parents, and for those who anticipate a more vulnerable postpartum period due to anxiety, depression, or past trauma.
And the care doesn’t stop there. You still have me through our WhatsApp chat for the next three months - whether you need emotional support, guidance, or healing, or help with something practical like breastfeeding support, recover, or the “is this normal?”. I
Our last visit is not a goodbye, but a see you later because our relationship is never truly over. This intimate experience is forever on both of our hearts and you are a part of the Radical family now! I’m always just a phone call or text away.
