Full Pink Moon in Libra

Tonight, the moon is in the sign of Libra. Some call it a pink moon, named after the blooms from the creeping phlox/moss phlox, signs of spring.

Libra’s drive for peace, equality, and harmony between opposite extremes is like the body’s desire for homeostasis. It’s not something we’re ever going to knowingly reach, but it’s an on-going relationship amongst all the moving pieces that make up a whole system. This also reminds me of our desire for unity in the world right now. We are sitting in a lot of discomfort as we’re ushered into a new evolution for the planet, and the creatures big and small that inhabit it.

We’re still in our rebirth phase. It’s uncomfortable, confronting, taking us to the edge of all we knew possible and beyond. It is like a proofing process. Can you make it through to the other side in order to find peace? We’re collectively making our way to the next chapter.

I think Libra is asking us to call in a person to find peace with, one that tends to mess with our head. As an air archetype she calls in the intellectual, mental, and logical planes of our life and so, I personally think this is a person who knows how to push our buttons, confuse us, and derail us from homeostasis.

This could be someone who affects your everyday life and takes you away from your daily tasks.

This is someone who does not respect your boundaries no matter how much you try to implement them.

Because we’re in Aries season, this is a person that PISSES you off! Did someone come to mind?

Can you call them in tonight?

Libra asks us to practice forgiveness knowing that we can not control their behaviour, but we can control our own.

Can we LET GO (full moon energy) of the need to do XYZ so they will meet us where we desire?

Can we let go of an attachment to an outcome.

Can we use forgiveness as a means of surrender?

In letting go of the outcome, we actually GAIN peace and harmony because we’re prioritizing ourselves instead of the other person who is causing us discontent.
