How to Listen to your Intuition…
Listening to your intuition is the first step of doing some deep soul work. It connects you to a whole world of possibilities, power, confidence, trust, and perhaps most important, respect.
How do we listen?
One of my tricks is to find that place in your home or sacred space that you can let go. Like really let go of everything in your head. The bathroom is mine. Let’s explore what makes it amplify my intuition and spiritual practice.
I’ve been drawn to water my whole life. Sound familiar? My mother would call me a fish in the swimming pool. I would spend hours in the bathtub until my skin was wrinkly and my teeth were chattering.
At the sink, I built a practice of self care (personal rebellion). I could be alone. I could be safe. I could experiment with make up and body hair and nail polish.
I would use it as a place to run and hide from my brothers (80s child right here). The door had a lock.
In the bath I could just let go and let the warmth and the darkness take hold, the water covered my ears and shut out the world.
I made up games and pretended to be a vampire. I made witches brews with hair and body products.
As an adult and mother, it’s one of my only places where I can draw a boundary and have alone time
I made the decision to divorce my ex from the bathtub Powerful place!
Water it’s also a conduit for ✨psychic✨ activity. Water is sacred to us all💙 We are made up of mostly water. More on that another time….
My point is, you can see how having a space to go to where everything else slips away is important to being able to hear your intuition. We need to have a clear channel to start practicing. So go find it!
I’m curious to know, where is your safe space? Where can you listen? ⬇️🖊👋🏼
